This week’s behaviour is treating others with dignity and respect. This is the third behaviour in the leadership practice of Enabling Others to Act and builds off last week’s vlog post and behaviour of actively listening to diverse points of view. As I explore in this week’s vlog, it’s not just good enough to be actually paying attention and listening to others, its about demonstrating that you are. How others are perceiving you is critical in you getting your message across, and if your head is down on a screen, you may be listening, paying attention, you might actually be taking notes of the meeting, but what is the message you are sending?
