Now we’re going to focus on the first step: information gathering.
To make this practical, let’s use a real-world example.

Imagine a company that’s seeing a steady decline in customer satisfaction scores. Complaints are increasing, and leadership wants fast solutions.
Before jumping to action, creative problem solving asks us to pause — and gather information.
